New Hydraulic Rescue Tools

Monday January 17, 2011 the Ellington Volunteer Fire Department trained on new Jaws of Life hydraulic rescue tools which were placed into service. These new tools will be on placed on Engine 143 replacing tools which were an average age of 20 years. The new tools have an increased cutting and spreading capacity over 4 times the tools which are being replaced. Additional units will be placed into service in the upcoming weeks hurst
